i was reading some book that says that women are jealous of men because they have a penis. I am certainly not, so whats up with this?is it true?

Like everyone else has said, its an outdated Freudian concept. There's a joke that says women don't have penis envy. With what we have between our legs, we can get as many penises as we want.

IF there is a question of women being jealous of men, it is actually; resentments in the BIAS of Gender Power. In this Patriarchal Society of present day Earth, woman are rigorously discouraged from rising among the ranks of POWER. But!
Oprah is a grand example of a woman with POWER. No one, for one moment, thinks that Oprah resents that she is without penis. There are many times when one must think matters through, and come to a satisfactory and logical conclusion. Don't you agree?

Sigmund Freud, the father of "psychoanalysis" strikes again!
Freud believed that at about age 4 (what Freud calls the Phallic stage), a girl switches from having the mother as the love object to having the father as the love object. This also meant that the main genital area that they focused on switched from the clitoris to the vagina as the main genital zone. In the process, they discovered they didn't have a penis and the power that comes with having a penis. That lead to lots issues around power and low self-esteem.

I don't know of anyone who really believes this theory nowadays. But it's a fun theory to "have in hand"...ahem.

Men or women are proud of what they are & what they possess. They don't really can't guess the advantages or troubles of belonging to the opposite sex.
No REAL man wants to be a WOMAN nor a REAL woman wants to be endowed like a MAN!
This is thinking outside their nature & understanding!

you seems to be reading cheap and nonsense literature. I have come across many women who just want to have a hard penis of men into their vagina but surely not instead of vagina...

I'm sometimes rarely jealous of not having a d** only when I have to pee outside in cases of emergency like when their isn't any restrooms out there when one is shopping..... u get what I mean it happens to every girl sometime.

i am sure a man wrote that statement, we have nor will ever be jelous of men because we will always have more than them. the privilege of giving life we have the wonderful vagin a which we dont have to protect because nature has it secure. men i thnk r so insecure that they have to make such stupid state ments to make themselves feel superior
