i have less than two years with my loptop and i dont think this happen before it turns off .
most of the times this happens when i opend a program like windows media player or other.
what should i do ti fix the problem.

Some heat wasn't disspated, if it's under warranty or shop insurance, send in for repair, all current CPUs will avoid overheating by turning itself off, so that goes back to the dissipation issue.

It could be a battery problem even if it is not a Dell computer. The Dell problem is actually a Sony battery problem, and many laptop brands use Sony batteries.

Try using the laptop for a few hours with the battery removed (AC power only). If it runs OK that way, then get a new battery.

Is it a Dell? It could be the battery causing that problem. Dell just released a recall on their laptop batteries for basically the same problem. If it is a Dell go to:

maybe the battery is dead or it can be worn out from using it and its time 2 get a new 1

Sounds like overheating. What kind of environment do you keep it in - could be its dirty inside.
