You need to make sure you clean in all the folds of your "lips" and douche after your monthly cycle. Also the body has a natural way of cleansing that area. There is also cleansing wipes in the same area as douches that you can use before you recieve oral. Just say you need to use the restroom and go wipe up. If you still feel it is "smelly" down there or if you have a odd discharge then I would definately see you OB/GYN.

If you bathe regularly, and still have a vaginal odor, go see your doctor. There are health conditions that can cause that and you want to have those ruled out, before you try to just treat the symptom (the smell).
If doc says all is well, there are some "feminine deoderants" you can buy, but the issue with those is although they may help you smell better down there, they are likely going to have a bad taste if your guy goes down on you....or you can try douching (there are strawberry ones and such out there) and see if that helps.
Start with your doc and go from there s/he can give you suggestions if it turns out there's not a health issue causing the problem...

If you wash regularly the normal female smell is not noticable - maybe even slightly metallic, but that's a good female smell. You can smell yourself and know if you smell bad, or fishy - that's usually a yeast infection, your ph is off, or vaginosis. All easily fixable things. But it can also be an std, so it's always best to ask your gyn before trying over the counter stuff. Douching throws your ph off, btw, that's only to make yourself smell interesting, soap works alot better than that for actual clenliness. Try that 'Rephresh' stuff too, it's great!

Well I think it is better to wait for marriage to do stuff like that. You could get some douche to use, they even sell it at the dollar store. If it is a fishy smell you might need to go to the doctor because it may be a bacterial infection.
