A lot of people seem to be complaining about not being able to use take liquids as a carry-on. My question to them is this: Would you rather be able to have your liquid, or blow up?
Personally, I would rather be safe than sorry. I have seen that they are now allowing a little bit more than they were. I have never flown before and quite frankly, I am not sure that I ever want to. I am perfectly fine with driving myself where I need to go. But if I were to fly....better safe than sorry right, there's A LOT going on right now, it's scary.
Have yourself a drink before you get on the plane so you don't get thirsty. People these days complain too much. What kind of person is more worried about whether or not they can take a liquid on board than whether or not a terrorist is going to blow the plane up?

I don't mind the restriction on liquids, but a lot of people are saying all carryons should be banned, and that is crazy. Leisure travelers need cameras, and what do you think the chances of your camera arriving in one piece in a checked bag are? Business travelers need their laptops - if it isn't damaged when you check it, it will probably be stolen. So if leisure travelers and business travelers make other travel arrangements, the airlines aren't going to have many passengers. Many people do carry too much, but if I am transporting anything really fragile (one time it was a glass heirloom vase) I need to carry it myself.
You know, the terrorists have already won. We are showing more and more inclination to give up our freedoms just to be safe, and that's what they want. I don't know how to stop them, but I know they are laughing at seeing frightened people take off their shoes, toss their contact lens solution, etc.

It's not that liquids are banned, you just have to put them in your checked baggage. A little security is much less of an inconvenience than being dead is. Less cabin baggage means everyone travels more comfortably, everyone takes too much stuff that they don't need on board and then tries to stuff it in and around their seats. Check your baggage and travel light.

I don't believe more restrictions are the order for the day, because eventually we are going to keep losing all the freedoms we do have by continuing to give up our liberties...and then what is there left to defend against?

you can check em, just not take them in a carry-on... many buis. are already in the process of figuring ways to ship it to you so it's waiting at the gate...
it stinks, but so did metal detectors, then random searches, then taking your shoes off, they all stink but if that's what it takes to keep some loony i don't know from randomly killing me, i'll gladly do it...
