Designing shoes. No joke. It nearly happened three years ago and it could happen in five hundred years time. Unless of course just about every human being is wiped out in some way or another, in which case the wealthiest person could be an expert on surviving, if they're the last person left alive.
Why don't you wait five hundred years and find out?

There will not be a wealthiest person because the current system of things will be gone.
All alive will be an expert on the love of his creator in a perfect paradise on earth.

Depends on which planet you are referring to. In 500 years time I would suspect interstellar space flight will be a reality and the universe will become a much smaller place due to it. The discoveries and technical advancement we will have made will be awesome and unbelievable. Look how far with technology we have come in the last 20 years.
So I would suggest the richest person in the universe would be the overseer in interplanetary travel..........

Their fight for survival will have made them the experts on
living with no natural source of water,
breathing in an no-ozone atmosphere full of Carbon and acid rains, digesting genetically reengineered food from waste,
entertained by buddy robots who are only source to share your thoughts, and expertise in practical knowledge on topics like real virtuality ( because virtual reality would be history by then)
