is there ANY way that i could make my psp 2.80 into a 1.5??

Nope, it's not possible...yet. But why are you trying to do that I know you want emulated games but Sony is installing programs so you can get emulated games that's part of the reason they come up with firmware versions. It will be released I don't know how soon, but it will come just be patience.

I was in the same position a few months ago. I'm guessing you want to play games you've downloaded. Unfortunately, it's not possible, without serious, serious risk of making your PSP a very expensive paperweight. Oh, wait, that's what mine is now, anyway.

Never, EVER, attempt to downgrade your PSP! You could easily brick it, making it totally useless.

erm.. jus wait fro a couple of mths.. currently there is v2.6/2.7downgrade now.. soon there will be will be v2.8
version 1.5 psp rocks........
