Yes, this is normal. Be thankful because it is doing some work preparing your body for delivery. Are you timing the contractions? Write time down, there might be a pattern you wouldn't see unless they are written down.
Do these contractions start in the back and wrap around to the front?
If your contractions are 3 or 5 minutes apart on a regular basis, call your doctor.

Also......if you feel you need to call your doctor, trust your own instinct and not what people say here.

I hope that all goes well for you!

Yes, it's completely normal. It's just your body preparing for the real thing. Trust me, you'll know when it's time.
Braxton-Hicks contractions and actual contractions are completely different.

It sounds normal. I had them like that with my first child. But, to be on the safe side, I would phone my doctor - just in case. Better safe than sorry. And, congrats on the baby.

every woman's pregnancy is different and every pregnancy is different for each woman. false contractions can be harmless as long as there are no other complications. my advice to you that if you are really worried see your doctor because it is not good to sit and worry and put unnecessary stress on you at this stage of the game

Call the Labor and Delivery at your local hospital and talk to a nurse there and they will advise you more accurately on what to do.

Totally normal. Sometimes it helps to drink water and get off your feet. As long as they don't hurt and you have no "bloody show". don't need to call.
