Did you buy the vehicle new? If not, the previous owner may have written it in the manual. Probably not a good idea to write it there, but it's pretty common.
I'm not sure if the dealer has access to the code unless the radio is removed. Wouldn't hurt to call the dealer and find out.
I had my battery replaced in a Honda Accord and the dealer had to remove the radio to get the code.
Not sure about the Chevy's. Good Luck!

it relatively is a 12V device. as long as voltage continues to be over 12V jointly as all upload-ons are on and dealing (heater, lighting fixtures fixtures, etc) then there is not any subject, era. maximum platforms DO run at 13-14V, yet they do no longer would desire to. returned, sorting out voltage whilst completely below load is the only way you are able to tell if the device is high-quality. (edit to make sparkling...it relatively is a 12V battery, if the voltage is going below 12V, it is discharging. notwithstanding if it is 12V+ jointly as each and every thing is working, it relatively is no longer discharging, hence it is being maintained at it relatively is rated voltage.) increasing RPM does not artwork on the recent alternators like it did the previous ones. they are extra advantageous on the instant, as a results of fact lots on the alternator are some distance larger now than they was once. do no longer disconnect the battery jointly because it is working, it relatively is a undeniable-fireplace thank you to fry your electric powered device from a surge, and overloads the alternator on a similar time. returned, would have been something a threat returned in the day, on the instant it is barely negligent to advise somebody gain this.

The only thing is trying to call the company that made your type of radio and maybe they have the numbers or a trick to bypass the code doesn't hurt to try it.

this sounds stupid but it is the way to do it. Turn your key forward to the on position (not starting it). Then leave it there for 30 minutes and the radio will reset.
