... it is my personal belief that the civil unrest is allowed to continue in iraq as an excuse to stay there indefinitely ...it is my belief that making iraq into a permanent military base has been planned for years. I base this on the doctrine of the PNAC ... i challenge you to google that term and see what their goals are and most importantly who the members are... there have also been reported cases of some of the bombings actually being carried out by intelligence officers from britain and the US to antagonize and keep the violence going .... one case was two british agents dressed as arabs that were captured with a car full of weapons bombs and RPGs' ... subsequently the iraqi security forces that held them were attacked and destroyed to free the wrongfully held "british soldiers" .... its all a big game and im telling u the truth on this ... almost all of the stories you hear coming out of iraq are propaganda ... the press is NOT allowed to operate freely there. Iraq is a military base that is here to stay.

1. We can't be and shouldn't be - the world's policemen. But that's what our troops have become in Bushey's little war.
2. It will all end about the same time as we pull our troops out -sometime after the new Democratic administration goes into office in 2009.
3. Hey, didn't we see the same thing in VietNam? And we know how that wound up.

As long as there are two or more people interacting with one another, there will always be conflict. Therefore, there is no end, only fluctuations in the intensity of the conflict and how it is resolved.

I truly believe that the US should take out it's forces and now the Iraqis will all, Sunnis and Shias, will be able to deal themselves. The US already did enough damage, and haven't they gotten their fill of oil yet?

No. There is not. They need a stern fist to rule them.
They just need to break the country into 3 countries, its only a matter of time anyways.

Resolve it, are you kidding?
We started it to drive up the price of oil so Bush and Cheany's oil production stocks would go up.
Why would we resolve it?

no, the US has been bogged down for the past year, or longer,,, if your referring to Israel, Lebanon and the Hezbollah, the US has to support a sovereign nation over a terrorist organization, the Lebanese just got caught in the middle
