I'm not sure where terms are started from, but this dates back to school (and stayed there, I thought), they (I refrained from it personally) used to also say 'taxi'. Just an alternative to "excuse me, I'm about to break wind" I suppose. Us sophisticates didn't feel the necessity of trying to look cool or fit in.

My hubby blames a little mouse with green wellies when he farts. I think it is a man thing.

I think he's just being wierd. Like me, I like to pound on my chest with one hand before I burp, it just adds an interesting effect.

maybe he has to twist his bottom hole, to push it out, mabe his a bit deffected in that area, but i dont know why he has to say it.
