I have had two ghostly experiences in my life. When my grandfather died, I got up in the night and saw him sitting in his favorite chair and when my father died(his death was traumatic and he was lost in the woods for a week and when found his body was very decayed), his grandson who was his reason for living, suddenly got a horrible smell in his bedroom like something dead and nobody could find the source of the smell. They even had the wall torn down looking for dead animals. They never did find or get rid of the smell and finally had to sell the house and move and the new owners did not have the problem and never had the odor. Tell me your ghostly encounters...no jokes please..serious only.

I have never actually seen ours in the house, but there is beyond a shadow of a doubt one. You will hear your name being called when you are in the shower and no one is home and all the doors are locked. We have had other experiences like a candle flew across the room and left candle wax on the opposite wall and the candle was still up right. We had a basketball roll completely around the couch and stop right in front of us. I am talking about 360 degrees. After all of this happened when we first moved in we started questioning people about the house and turns out the people that lived their before us moved out cause they swore it was haunted. It seems like anytime something new or majorly different happens like a new roommate moving in or totally rearranging rooms will start up the activity again. I dunno I kind like having "it" around kind of like a security system! None of my friends will stay the night so it gets rid of people that just won't leave! lol

Yes, both my mom and myself have seen many ghosts, it's not fun at all. The last one I remember, I didn't actually see it, but I was asleep on my bed, when I suddenly woke up because I felt someone touching my back, I got up and there was nobody there. I went back to bed and I felt it again, and I also heard and felt someone breathing behind me, I could not sleep all night!!
I didn't know what to do, it was really scary.

Personally, I haven't seen any but members of my family have.
Just after my nana's mother-in-law died, both her and her then husband felt a breeze in their draught-free house, and saw the mother-in-law's ghost walk across the room from the patio doors to the sofa, sit down, and disappear, then the breeze disappeared too.
My sister has also seen ghosts, one tried to attack her after she moved in with her fiance, and she also had lots of trouble with this ghost trying to drive her out of the house, and when she worked in a bar, she told me of a woman who walked down the corridor and through a wall.

In my old house my bathtub was in the basement. Every time I would shower I would see a dark figure walk passed the bathroom door out of the corner of my eye. I never saw it looking directly though. Scary.

My story is when my father was dieing( in the hospital )at our home in which he lived we heard him coughing uncontrollably in the basement then when my mother went downstairs to check if someone was there she heard his footsteps upstairs walking from the bedroom to the bathroom and back. My father died the next day.

Ghosts aren't real.

They are demons trying to trick you.

They're goal is to confuse the masses, and make you not believe in God because how would ghosts fit in the grand scheme of things?

Same thing with aliens.

Nothing to be scared of though. They can't hurt you. Read them some Bible verses and they'll go away for the time. They hate the word of God.

To get them to go away for good you have to bind them through prayer!!

No, I haven't .... seeing your grandfather was probably his way of saying goodbye....don't quite understand about your dad, I don't understand if he loved his grandson so much why that odor would be there....
I think sometimes its as hard for those who are passing on to say goodbye and it is for us left behind....maybe they try to say goodbye as best they can.

Yes, ghosts are real. I've seen them many times. I'm not allowed to say any more however.

Just trust me - they're real.

I've never had a ghost experience, but I've never had anyone close to me die. I'm extremely close to my brother so I have to think if one of us did pass, we'd see eachother.
