I had sex with this girl. The condom broke, but I withdrawled in time. Then we broke up. A week later she said she was pregnant. She said she took the home test. Then she said she went to the doctor. The doctor told her she wasn't pregnant, but just to watch her period. She still hasn't gotten her period. What is happening?

She's lying. It's very unlikely that she would get a positive pregnancy test one week after ovulation (based on a normal cycle length and your average home pregnancy test). Her period might be late for many reasons, but if she doesn't get her period she should test again, AND you should ask to see the stick.

A week after sex? You can't get tests done accurately at this stage. You need to wait until at least a day past the time when she should have had her period to take a test. Even then, they can be inaccurate. Also, stress (such as thinking you are pregnant when you aren't) can make your period late. I have been as late as 11 days due to stress. Some people can skip their period altogether for a month due to stress. All of the things you have reported have also been hearsay... she said. I would go with her to another doc's visit. She could very well be playing you (for some sick reason). Talk directly to the doctor. Have her take a conclusive blood test- that will tell you the answer for certain.

How late is her period? If it's only a couple days late then it might not show up on the urine type tests. Wait till she is at least 2 wks late with her period and retest. Or have her go to her dr (or public health) to be retested.
Just a side note: even if you "withdraw" you can still get her pregnant. No form of birth control including condoms and the "withdrawl method" is 100%

How late is she? She should take another test when she's about 3 weeks late. That's how long it took for the test to show I was pregnant.

you cant tell if you are pregnant only a week after it happens.... if she is NOW late with her period then she should take another test and have her blood tested by the doctor.

It might be that her hormones arent showing yet.If she takes a test and it is positive in about a wek then she will kneed to go to the doctor again.If you have to get the truth take her a test and have her take it in front of you.But wait for a week.She might be pregnant so be prepared.

SHE'S LYING TO YOU.come on,it's not going to show up that you're preganant a week after you had sex with her.her hormone level is not high enough to show up on a home preganancy test a week after either.ther could be other reasons her period hasn't came on.if she is preganant,then it's to early to tell,especially on a home preganancy test she would need to do a blood test.i think she told you that because she want you back.and she thinking if she tell you that she is preganant than you would get back with her or she would be forever connected to you.just play it cool,be calm;cause if she's lying you'll eventually catch her in her lie.

I really truly honestly think this girl is playing you for damn fool..Open your eyes she says the doc said she's not pregnant now look at the bright side she says she hasn't gotten her period ..she is lying just to see how you react ...So she is not preggo's ...Pediatric nurse for 13 years and still going strong
