No they look the same though. Padme is Natiale Portman. She's been in other movies like "V for Vendetta", "Cold Mountain", and "Garden State".

Padme is 4 or 5 years older than Anakin. In Episode 1, Anakin was 9, and Padme was 14. But at the time, Anakin was very close to being 10, so you could say 4 years older

Padme is a character, it's the first name of Queen (later Senator) Amidala. However, when you first see her, Padme is the name apparently given to a handmaiden of Queen Amidala, who you later find out is the Queen herself, in an attempt to avoid assassination. I could be wrong, but I think Keira Knightley played the Queen's double, who was disguised as the Queen in the subterfuge. Confused?

Padme is the queen's real name in the star wars films thats why in the other films anakin always calls her padme even when she was no longer queen so real in the end she was padme skywaler but before she was queen or ambassadoer padme amadalia

No way, Keira Knightley could never be as good a Padmé as Natalie Portman. I mean, she's pretty too and all, but no way. And I don't think they look the same at all.

In many of the scenes in Phantom Menace when you see Queen Amidala, it isn't actually Amidala. It is often her handmaiden double, who was played by Knightly. The true queen, Padme Naberrie Amidala, was played (as others have pointed out) by Natalie Portman.
