its not famous there ! THEY DO PLAY but they SUCK!!!!!!

if they cant do some thing they make a excuse like bush did during war

baseball excuse for --- cricket

nfl - excuse for football

ice hockey --- excuse for hockey

nfl -- well they suck anyways - so much effort and rememebr olympic
they play the games only- them can play

americans did'nt play cricket for a very long time but now they started showing up some interest towards the game. Americans lack patience n the english (Britain people) have vary patience, so cricket was played by englishmen and rarely by americans.

americans dont understand the differences between baseball and cricket. they think cricket is a variant of baseball. they also have so many other sports like NASCAR, NBA, Football, etc which they follow which are total unknowns to others.

because it takes too long for them to play. They don't have the attention span for it. Imagine an American at a Test Match. That would be hysterical. Also, because it's a british game. they took cricket and turned it into baseball, basically a shorter version better suited for them.

Either of the first 2 answers are on the mark. Heck it's like asking why they call it football? Only one person is allowed to kick the ball; only one time and into the air at that. LOL

they've got baseball which is aslightly different version of cricket,though i still think cricket is great.

Because we have baseball. That's not to say some people don't but it's just not as big as baseball here.
