Yesterday was my first day of school. I saw some girl re pregnant.

For a variety of different reasons.....I'm a senior in h.s and im pregnant. It was unplanned (condom break and we think i must have skipped a pill) but we are both very excited. my parents are happy and supportive as are his. We both have steady jobs and he is already out of hs and a single father to a 4 year old. We've been together awhile and we have a good honest relationship..however i know girls who set out to get pregnant b/c they felt unloved or wanted to keep a man around. There are so many reasons...don't look down on girls who are pregnant b/c you don't know the circumstances. And in hs expect to see several pregnant girls (my good friend in 6 months pregnant, another had her baby over the summer and i know a few girls at my school that were pregnant over the past 3 years-i can think of 4 offhand that i didn't know very well) Just treat them like everyone else and try not to stare and be nice.
P.S. don't feel pressured to have sex and if you do USE PROTECTION (at least 2 methods) and realize that it still isn't 100% effective

Teens in high school feel the pressure of having sex with there partner because they think that is they only way they will get them to like them. Or they could have been on drugs/drinking and didnt use a condom and dont have the heart to have an abotion. Parents dont inform them on how much responibility it takes to raise a child.

Get used to it. I've seen about 5 different girls pregnant so far, but it's nothing new.

girls are just not right these days
i am going into 8th and i know many teens that are preg and i am NOT one of them
premarital sex isnt good
unless they are married settled down and have a well eough job to support there kid then they shouldnt get preg
girls do it just cause they think its cool
