dont worry about it too much..hes just a guy, he wont bite. dont go up to him and scream out I LOVE YOU! or anything..just start a normal conversation. if youre completely terrified, bring a more outgoing friend along with you, but make sure she/he knows not to steal the spotlight.

Why are you scared? Trust me, no one should be too scared to talk to someone, unless that someone is an ax murderer, he's not an ax murderer is he? Then don't be scared!!
Don't put him on a pedestal making him untouchable. He's just a guy! Even shy people can go up to someone and just say hi. Maybe that seems undo-able, but it is so not! In fact, he might think it is cool that you took initiative (maybe he seems untouchable to other girls too cuz he is SO fine!) Whatever the reason, take a deep breath and just say hi. If you have to use the phone or instant messaging to first approach him, then do so, but I would not hide from him for too long. The fact is, the longer you wait to approach him the harder it will get!
Remember, he is JUST A GUY!

Try to imagine that the guy you like is someone you know for ages. Come up to him and just say 'Hi' ..followed by casual chit chat. In other words try thinking of him as a boy rather then a boy you like.

Plan it so u are sitting somewhere comfortable when he walks past u (so he just finished class or something), make eye contact & wiggle ur pointer finger 'come hither'. He'll come sit by you and u ask how he's doing. If he is in a hurry, he'll tell u u can talk later & u get his number. If he's not interested he wont stop or won't sit... in that case,, ill take u to dinner. lol good luck :D

I had a friend with the same problem. My first suggestioin is to go approach him when his friends are around so that you two aren't the main focus. If thats out of the question, and you have a friends who's close to him and you can trust him you should tell him your problem. He may be able to help.

uh the worst thing that can happen is rejection come on she's afraid of that. Get to no his friends and then hang out with all of them and talk to him randomly and then if he likes you he'll ask you out. I hate the wait too though.
