A) absolute to the two, many different gamers. on the old Metropolitan Stadium, the Twins had a digicam Day merchandising the place followers could stand on the warning song and the gamers would come around and followers could take pictures (no autograhs). I surely have some pictures - the suitable one is from 1978 - image with Gary Serum, a starter for the Twins in seventy seven and seventy 8. i became going to video games for the period of the time whilst many gamers got here out to sign autographs. I surely have 2 baseballs that I surely have saved over the years - one signed by utilising Rod Carew basically till now he became traded to the Angels (sob!) and one that became signed by utilising Ron Kittle of the White Sox. He hit a house run the day earlier to this and that i caught that ball! i wanted him to sign it, so i offered a cost ticket for the interest day after today and have been given him to sign it. That became particularly cool.

If you search around on the team site, you can usually find information on where you can get autographs.

Some stadiums will open up their gates about 2 hours before game time, to allow fans to enter the stadium who want autographs. This is usually when the team is taking BP as well. Saying that, a player has a right not to sign if they choose not to.

Autographs are signed field level, near the dugouts, and usually are available until 45 min before game time.

My wife and I recently had great success in obtaining the autographs of four of the Texas Rangers (including Mark Teixeira) while attending a couple of games against the Angels in Anaheim. We found that the Rangers players were very receptive to Ranger fans. I don't know if they'd be as friendly at home, but they definitely appreciated the support on the road...

As for where you can get the autographs, try to hang out in the area of the stands closest to where the players are warming up, and don't be afraid to speak up. But be polite too -- the players will go out of their way to avoid you if you're being rude...

I've got an autographed baseball signed by Billy Williams and Ron Santo of the Cubs. My dad got it signed for me at a game we attended in 1970 or 1971.

I've got some classic Indians - Joe Carter, Julio Franco (before he was a 106 year old phenom)...got these at shows.

Best though is an autographed copy of "Throwing Heat" by Nolan Ryan, that I got through a friend that had a memorbilia store and "Pete Rose on Hitting" through the same source.

I had a ball signed by three Orioles back around 1971 or 1972. Two of them are now in the Hall of Fame: Brooks Robinson and Jim Palmer (the third was catcher Andy Etchebarren). Got it at a shopping center promotion on a Saturday when the O's were in town to play the Angels.

Of all of them? No?

But I have collected autographs from quite a few Tigers players over the years when I've been at events they've been at. I haven't paid big bucks for anybody's John Hancock.
