I hate my high school so badly that I want to burn the place to the ground and pee pee on the ashes!!! I hate all of the ridiculous work and all of the people that I am forced to be around on a regular basis,(I make some exceptions for some people). What do you think about your high school? I am in my senior year and can't wait to leave in May 2007!!!!!

High school sucks because it is designed for people who are followers, people who have learned to follow and not listen to themselves anymore. It is designed to turn wild little 5 year old maniacs into Walmart shoppers who follow ads, and go there with their whole paycheck.
It is not designed for rebellious kids to have a voice. It is not designed to answeer any important questions like "What can I do?" or " Why does it do that?" "How do I get happy?" "What does this mean to me?"
It is not designed for artists, writers, or musicians, thinkers, but for junior retail clerks, and bank tellers, and football players.
I would challenge you to figure out what you want to do with your life. Take responsiblity to make that happen!
Try to think about making your life matter, regardless of your high school or the dorks you have to sit by.
Try to make the most of the free resources you have at your fingertips, including career counsellors or someone to tell that you hate school and why.
Read some books about life--buddhism, weather, christianity, botany, dogs, oceans, the biography of a stuntman. Anything you are interested in--even comic books--how they are made and who the writers are.
Part of being a grown-up is putting up with crap to get to something you DO want. It does suck but it is the price for doing business on the earth.You can do this!
It will all be over soon.
One day, I promise, you will wish you had paid attention in high school.

Because that's the nature of the beast. It was created years ago just so when you were born your life could be miserable.
You've made it this far. You're a Senior; big man on campus. Relax.
Yes some of the work is ridiculous, but you will be surprised when you get out into the world how many times you will reach back to these days for some of that ridiculous work or an experience.
And since you have matured so, over the summer, silently smile at the childishness of your classmates. Be amused.

For me, High School was all about who had the daddy with the best job, who wore the best clothes, and who could come out on top in competitions and elections. What a huge crock of crap that was. Money gets you everywhere, even if it's daddy' money. Do the best you can do to get through this awful four years one must endure. If at all possible, talk to your parents about stopping traditional high school crap and transfer to an adult learning center to get your diploma. My daughter was treated horribly in school because she wasn't skinny and gorgeous, and she didn't have a mommy or daddy with big money. At sixteen, she asked me if she could go to the adult learning center, and she had her high school diploma at 17 and was on to bigger and better education almost two years before the popular kids even got out of school. It's not a scam, and you do have to study the courses, but it's so individualized that it's a piece of cake to get it done, and there is no popularity contest to overcome. I wish you the very best of luck in all you do.

Sometimes High School does suck but all u can do is hang out w/ your homeboys and chill. Friends make time pass by cracking jokes and bullsh@ting all the time.Plus trying to talk to that pretty girl in Biology will definitely make the time pass quick. Anyway u have one more year 2 go. Then it's college which means alot of beer and babes! That's if U like beer.

High school doesn't suck it's all how you make it. If you do nothing but go to school and just go home then of course your not going to likehigh school. Meet new peopl eget cool with the teachers, and make sure you pass there classes so they like you and use you as examples next year. Just go crazy but do it by following the rules. Trust I know form experience...

It is extremely important that you are able to put yourself in a zone that allows you to cope with these every day ridiculous study ethics....believe me ...make your adjustments now or fail later...the hardest thing about your senior year should be getting up in time for class...

It sucks because you are forced to be there and you have teachers that treat you like idiots and they give you a butt load of homework every night and eventually it get tiring...... but theres nothing you can do about it just go everyday and get through it!!

Well I live in Jamaica and I go to an All-Girls High School that makes us wear uniforms and all the girls are b!tches that wont leave me alone so i think i have it worse than you.

high school is the WORST!! it's **** from start to end. all those bitchy girls who think they are so great.. all those dumb guys who think they're all that... those assholes who teach and pretend they care...sure there are exceptions and you will have good memories too, but i'm loving my life in university you just hang in there be patient cause you can't imagine how sweet life is after high school!!! I hated high school too, most kids do. wait till college...you will have the time of your life and high school will become a distant memory.
