How come on TV the bell always rings and then the kids go to class, but in real life you need to be in class before the bell rings?

because they mess things up on TV.
I also don't get it how the kids can walk out when the teacher is talking...we can't do that.

TV is not real life first of all...they don't focus much on the real aspects but just on their theme...entertaining!
In real life if everyone starts to rush in the very moment the bell rings just imagine the chaos it can cause...the massive rush can cause people to get hurt and whatnot....so its more convenient for the teachers and the students to keep the rule of getting to class before the bell rings so that they can avoid the rush flow...its just a wise decision...but i am telling u, u don't have this rule in college because in college u got a lot of space and everyone will be going to different building for their classes so their won't be any rush and also there is no bell in the first place...so u just gotta put up with it until 12th grade :D

When I was in high school and I have only been out a year so it wasn't ages ago or anything we would have a bell that ended a class, then a warning, bell and then the final bell or the tardy bell as it was sometimes called which meant you were late for class.

Because TV is NOT an accurate representation of Real Life. It's "La-la land" for those of us who don't have lives of our own. It keeps most of us off the streets, out of prison, & buying all the wonderful garbage that the advertizers want to sell us. So you see?- It's NOT about school, it's about keeping us glued to the small screen- fat & happy.
