Um, well kinda. I don't think there discriminating him but its just the fact that young children might be watching and because of him having Tourettes the kids will hear swear words which they can't bleep out coz its live ! lol . I think they should definately let him have a live interview regardless of the fact of his Tourettes.

There's not a Pete on my channel 4, but if there were, and he had tourettes, and was taken off because of it, yeah, I would call it discrimination.

Probably. But, depending on what he does as a result of his tics, he may not be allowed live feed because of the FCC. Some people with Tourettes curse repeatedly, and profanity is not okay with the FCC... Hopefully they can figure something out to accomodate his issue.

its a bit of a dilemma this one, they are, kind of, discriminating but only on behalf of the narrow minded minority of viewers who are sure to deluge ofcom with complaints. complaints= fines and fines = bad publicity which leads to advertisers getting very titchy about where to throw their money. look at love is and, there are little or no ads during its ad break because noone wants to advertise on it.
pete is a lovely guy despite his affliction which is something that should be addressed and the vast majority of level headed citizens would have no problem listening to him.
roll on freedom speech and expression.

Pete's live interview would defintely be after the watershed because he'll be last out of the house as the winner!

No, simply because they cannot guarantee he won't swear, its just like other things where you can't help but discriminate, like putting a severly handicapped person in the army.
