Thats a good question. You can't deny either of them. There both hugely successful bands. Poison was a "fun" band, kind'a "tongue and cheek" rock. Where GnR was raw and edgy, I'd go with Poison, I know they had their problems but for crying out loud, they didn't make their fans wait for hours on end to start a show, lets face it, as good as Axl was a performer, he tarnished himself with his ego and outburst's

I think Poison sounded WAY better live but Guns had more staying power and the individual members have gone on and done more. But I love them both! Go 80's hair bands!
