No, mirrors does not look at you. Mirrors are inanimate objects that reflects light. The image of you in the mirror appears to look at you when you stare into your own image in the mirror. And since the speed of light is finite (albeit very fast), the image that you see in the mirror is an image of you a fraction of a second earlier. So no, it is not looking into the future.

No that's not true. Because light travels very fast, it seems that our mirror reflections move the same as us. However, this is not true, because it takes a fraction of a second for us to interpret the actions, and another fraction for the light to reach the mirror. Thus we are actually looking into the past. you know whats cool though? If light was really slow, we could do something and then watch it happen a while lighter in a mirror, because the light would take longer to get there. cool no?

What happens if a mirror see's itself in another mirror without realizing it? Does that mean that time stops while the mirror looks at the reflection of it's reflection in the reflection of the reflections from the reflection and so on? Think about it....
