I have 2 girls from my first marriage, he has never had any children biologically. When my youngest was 4 I met my husband and he raised them as his own. He was her daddy then and now. She knows her real father but he never had much to do with her and her older sister. Now my oldest daughter was going on 6 when I met my husband. She always called him by his first name, she did refer to him as her step-father to others, and when she got married he gave her away. She thinks of him as her step-Dad and her 3 kids call him Pap-paw.

We were married 20 years and now divorced. Both my girls still treat him the same as they always have. They love him as they would any parent.

The guy I'm dating has no kids, but loves my little girl and treats her like his own. We've been together for over a year. He did this pretty much from the first. I'm a very lucky girl.
