Does it hurt MORE than tweezing one eyebrow hair or less? What should I do to make it as painless as possible?

Personally, tweezing is more painful. Waxing is over quickly.

Oh gosh. I hate tweezing. I used to always just tweeze up until about a year ago and I will def. stick with the waxing. Waxing really is not bad. I do get red sometimes afterwords but it goes away in a matter of minutes. Plus some places even have these cold stones they can but on your brows to prevent the redness. It feels really good too.

I would take waxing over just tweezing any day.

I don't know if it hurts more...it hurts when you get them waxed, but the pain comes all at once, and it's over in a few seconds, where as when you tweeze it hurts everytime you pull out a little hair and it takes forever. It also doesn't look as good as when you get it professionally done. Don't try to wax at home with like that Sally Hansen crap! Ew!! It will ruin you! Go to a salon! And to ease the pain, exfoliate your skin up there an hour or so before, and take some Advil or something a little before. Good luck!

I know I am fabulous!

It doesn't hurt more than tweezing because it goes in swift movements. It's much faster than tweezing because you're not just pulling out hair by hair. Don't flinch or scrunch up your face. Just relax. It's like getting a bandaid pulled off. It's quick and over before you know it. Your face may be a little red afterwards, but that's really about it.

Waxing is faster, and after the initial "ouch" it's much better.

I like waxing because it's more even, rather than tweezing, which usually ends up with me saying "Oh, I need to tweeze a few more here...but wait, now I'm uneven again."

I use Sally Hansen's home waxing kit, and it works like charm.

You should get them waxed, its faster 1 ..2..3. thats all. Then after theyre waxed, you can keep it up by tweezing hairs as they come in.

hurts less than tweezing and the longer u get ur brows waxed the less they grow in. use oral-gel or any kind of skin numb(er) before u go in.. and then put a cold compress on it if u turn red

Waxing is easier because you get it over with all at once. I have a numbing anteseptic spray (made by GiGi available at Sally Beauty) that I use on my more tender clients. If they don't offer that where you want to get your waxing done you can buy it and do it yourself. It takes about 10 minutes for it to numb up anyway. In a real pinch I've also used orajel.

Waxing last longer and the pain is quick. Try getting your eyebrows threaded. It an indian culture method (I think) but it works WONDERS. That is an amazing method of removing hair.
