It's not a good feeling. I grew up that way as a little kid when my parents divorced. My father had spent my moms entire inheritance and she was 27 with two kids and with no work experience. She had a very rude awakening. We lived in an old shack with water but no electricity or gas. Imagine what it's like having to wash with that old fashioned scrub board.I still remember my mom and younger sister crying because there wasn't enough to eat. I remember telling my mom at the age of seven that when I grew up,she and my sister would never know what it's like to be hungry even if I had to work 24 hours a day. There would always be food on the table. I started working at 16 and have always kept my promise. My mom is 67 . In her youth,my mom was a beautiful woman. We joke about this now when we say my dad took this beautiful trusting woman and turned her into this sarcastic untrusting old lady, lol. Not one of my dad's family helped us. If it wasn't for my great -aunt (my grammas younger sister)who helped us,I don't know where we would be..

Its very stressful. I used to live like that but I changed my whole life for the better. I used to live on the streets, got into trouble just to get into jail where they feed you 3 meals a day & give you a place to sleep. It's just horrible. NOW though, I got a long background, and nobody will higher me really.... So I'm still feeling the reprocussions of that my wrongs...
