I really wish people could be more kind to eachother and respect eachother. Does anyone else want peace?

Sure I do. The occasional sarcastic answer to a very silly question can be amusing, but nobody should be out to really be nasty and hurt anyone's feelings.
Alas, Yahoo answers is populated by people. Where there are people there are all kinds and lots of dysfunction. Take it in stride and try to enjoy yourself anyway.
Be kind yourself. Report abusers if you want; although none of us know the consequences. There probably aren't any; freedom of speech and all that. Besides how can we prove the screen name is only being used by the user it belongs to?
Take it with a grain of salt. People are mostly inventing themselves here. It is a place to explore their personalities and relieve boredom. When I'm having a bad day, my answers tend to be a bit crabby and impatient. Take everything with a grain of salt.

.How about democracy? There are always suggestion boxes somewhere. Let's vote on a new improved yahoo section for the meek, mild and sincere. How about violations citations that take points away and reward others for honest reporting not vendettas.In fairness though you need the places for the opposite so they can get their frustrations out in words not physical violence against others. Otherwise the rules only serve to create animosity instead of humility.

I agree 100%. Peace doesn't mean that we have to agree with each other all the time. That would be boring. But we can respect each other and other points of view.
