If it werent for Haseks groin, i would be stoked about him coming back to Detroit for the third time. But his groin has been bothering him the past 3-4 years. Yes he did put up amazing numbers last year when he was able to play. In my opinion, i think that the red wings should of hung on to Legace. If Hasek gets hurt, theyll have to resort to the REAL floppy fish Osgood.

.925 save pct. last year. Doesn't get hurt at stupid Olys and Sens win the Cup. He's not too old at all. Bad move by Ottawa. Low risk gamble by Detroit. What's the worst that will happen, the Dead Things lose again in the first rd.?

I'll take Hasek at his age anyday. Johnny Bower, look out!

Some players can still play above standards no matter how old they are. Hasek's one of them, but only when he's healthy.

he is too floppy and unpredictable. age has a big factor in his injuries no doubt. the senators did good by not resigning him. he needs to retire. before long he'll need geritol. waste of money. however he will get injured and disappear leaving ozzie and howard to help the wings win. the wings will flop no doubt but they won't do too bad in their division.

Definitely! First time he goes to make a kick save or has to do the splits there goes his groin and his season. He'll be lucky if he lasts through the preseason!

0 for style points and a bit too tempermental although I think he has mellowed somewhat.

Cannot believe he got picked up by the Wings , I 'm sure he is going to bust a gut before December.

LOL! They should have kept Legace and given him some time to develop. He sure looked good in the regular season to me.

Agree. Has been. Shined back then, but time to retire...again.

I use to like him, but he is just getting pretty old. He should stick to one one team. or retire.

He's not! He's still a great goalie with awesome skill.
