I have a friend who was born in the Chech Republic. We've tried to enter some U.S. resteraunts to eat, but we leave since we see signs that say "No Checks Allowed." What do these resteraunts have against people born in the Chech Republic? I think it's discrimination! Has anyone filed a class action lawsuit against resteraunts that post these signs?

You are joking, right?
That means you can't use a check to pay, not that people from the Chech republic can't eat there. It is saying pay with a credit card or cash, not a scribbled out payment note.

No that is not what they meant they are saying that they don't accept checks (checking account, checks from a bank) as a form of payment for services only credit cards, or cash, because maybe someone has written a bad check at the restaurant. They don't have anything against people from where your friend was born they are trying to run a business not trying to run you off. Don't get offended because that is not what they meant. :)
