think about the good in your life.....as someone who has stress problems like you...and should also see a therapist like you....i feel that we are in similar situations...and yes i did have a terrible breakup as well.....
for me i turned to boxing....it's been a passion of mine....that and i like watching ultimate fighting....i've trained...worked out....lost some weight....buzzed my head....now i have a little more confidence around the girls (i'm 18 and single)
also one of the most relaxing things for me was to lay down in my bed....room locked and just listen to my ipod...listen to the lyrics....and cry to the sad songs and smile for the happy in love ones.....also writing music was good for me
sometimes a pet...like a dog or cat can help.....
if you want to talk you can email me at chinese_revolution_again@yahoo.com
good luck

Meditation.
I'm not trying to be alternative or 'new age'. I'm advising meditation as a practical solution to dealing with stress. Meditation is basically training your mind, just like exercise is training for the body.
Through the meditative practice, you teach your mind to stay straight, no matter what happens. If stress comes, your mind won't waver or break.
There are a lot of great books on meditation. I would recommend that you browse the Amazon.com website and look at books that are highly rated and very thin. Meditation is simplicity...all you need to know are a few basic concepts and be willing to invest time.

I'd suggest you see your General Practitioner and request a referral to a Psychiatrist. Although pharmacology is and should be a last option, sometimes it can relieve your pain and allow you the break to get back on your feet. Perhaps you need anti-anxiety medication. Alternatively, you could see a psychologist and attend therapy sessions and request an anti-anxiety medication from your GP. Most town/cities have free counselling services for people to access. Nip it in the butt...othewise it could lead to other medical issues and depression.

First of all, try to put off thoughts of the break up. It happens to everyone. You have to move on, and although that sounds cliche, it's true. When you are truly ready to move on, you will. But basking in the sorrow will only waste alot of time your're never going to get back. Time you could have actually spent having some fun. Start to get excited about life. Think of all the beautiful people, and wonderful places you're going to visit. Think of all of the fun you're gonna have.

You are not alone.....alot of people get depressed. I would say that if you force yourself to make it work.....you will start feeling better. Give the new job a worthy chance. You're gonna still be down for a while but in time you'll start feeling better because when you're at the bottom there is only one way........up.

take a few days away from everything and if u can't unload all the stuff that is stressing u that u don't need and focus on what u do need it will take alot of stress off of u and talk to a friend instead of a therapist, and maybe she or he could help u unload some stress.

Ask God for strength. Consult a Catholic Priest for spiritual advise. If you want to talk with a woman, ask the priest for a referral to a nun. The nuns know great praying techniques that are soothing. You can also get inspiration by reading about the Saints. You can go to this website and learn about St. Monica, the mother of St. Augustine: http://www.catholic.org/saints/. I will be praying for you.
