I think it's just easier to "love 'em and leave 'em" nowadays than before, even compared to just decades past. Divorce rates are much higher now (divorce was seriously looked down upon in the last century and back). If divorce and setting up a family and separating were as easy to do back then as it is now, I think the same thing would have happened back then. That, or you could say society's morals are changing. Although extra-marital affairs and all that were pretty common throughout history, so maybe it's not morals that are changing but rather the way these things are approached. Just my opinion. I'm not really as jaded as I sound, and I don't condone affairs or things like that, and the idea of divorce is depressing to me.

i agree with everyone have you adopted any children if you feel so strongly do it,and isnt it better for a child to grow up without arguements or domestic violence,as for you asking why do they have children to split up at the time they probably are inlove and had a steady relationship so you cant judge everyone i am 22 with a 3 year old son i must say i am still with the childs father and we are still inlove very much but in some cases like where the man hits the womwn or vice versa it is not a enviroment for the child or wat about if the man cheats are you saying they should stay together for the sake of the child are you mad,the other partner hasnt got a crystal ball they dont know what the future will hold, kitkat you dont know that much i agree with you on some things but i caome from a strict sicilian catholic family yet i had a child at 18 and i am still with the babys father 5 years on and plan to get married very soon

In my opinion young ladies are having kids to have someone to love because there is a lack of it or discipline in the home. I've worked in childcare for many years now and I've seen many kids who run the home until the parents realize that the kids are out of control then when they try to take control back the girls rebel and go out and get in trouble.
It's sad that young women now days don't understand what a huge responsibility having kids is, it's not just babysitting and all fun and games, being a mom is a hard 24/7/365 job.

I will present here my thoughts on this matter. You are so right. This is a major problem these days, and I simply cannot see it getting any better. It seems this world is covertly being run by a desperately wicked group of perhaps several dozen super rich, super powerful royal blooded people loosely known as the Illuminati. It seems they have an agenda, which they are following , to morally corrupt society, destroy the family, and establish a new world order dictatorship. It certainly seems that they are well on their way to the destruction of the family/marriage core of contemporary society.

Define what is "raising your kids proper".
Life is evolving. More and more women are able to choose, and less and less men are able to cope...
and both men and women are trying to find a way to live together. Kids come around, and with some luck will learn from both.

Society is changing, we realize a child doesn't necessarily need both parents, when there is so much discourse in the family. its better to have one parent in a peaceful home than 2 in a violent one. And lets face it, young men don't want to be saddled with babies, for the most part.

Don't lay all the blame at the mother's door. It always has and always hold true. It takes two. A lot of the younger generation of men don't want the responsibility of a family, but if you dance, you gotta pay the fiddler.

Simple answer... kids of teenage parents are products of the parents not using condoms because sex feels better without a condom. No birth control=kids. Teenagers are not old enough to cope with handling kids, for goodness sake they are kids themselves still. How can you possibly raise kids when the parents themselves aren't even grown up.

Probably because they didn't want to teach the kid how to live together and be in fights all the time and teach the child to find a mate to fight with and continue the trend. It is ridiculous to think one size fits all.

because people think of peole as kleenex's. They get what they can, and if it fizzles, they move on. No one takes responsibility to stay in anything for the long haul. They do not work out their problems, they ditch them. Its a ridiculous mess. Nothing is sacred anymore.
