When I was 6, a grasshopper jumped into my mouth just as I was closing it and I wound up chewing it in that moment. But at the time I found out the grasshopper was actually rather flavorful, and wound up liking it so much I'd go looking for grasshoppers to eat. Then I moved onto other bugs, and my personal favorite are the red ants, they are rather tart.

I have since given up the bugs, mostly so I don't look that strange. But they are surprisingly good. And it is nice to know even if I go completely poor or run out of food for some other reason, I still won't die from starvation, I'll just go back to grasshoppers and ants.

It happens all the time when you are doing outdoor theater or summer stock. I know this sounds gross, but you have to ignore it and go on as if nothing happened. After all, this is what the audience expects. Musicals are really hell in this way.

If you have it in your mouth you must trap it with your tongue somehow and discreetly remove it.

How's that for Too Much Information? :o)

I'm sure everyone has, sometimes you don't even know it. They say the average person swallows like 8 spiders in their sleep a year.
