a lot of times the shoes you wear in the summer really f -up your feet (it doesn't make sense when you actually get pedicures, but it happens!) also, walking around outside with barefeet....a really easy way to fix cracked heels is to put vaseline or a heavy cream on your feet and cover with socks before you go to bed...in the morning, take the socks off, shower, and your feet should feel a lot better

Age does play a part in our skin, it does get dryer and our feet do get calused more when we get older. However, there are certain skin conditions that can include cracking, dry heels. If you don't want to get a pedicure, you could try getting a sand padel to buff the dry skin off your heels. Do it before you get in the bath tub and after you get out, then apply a creme such as eucerine, which is exellent for dry heels! The padels can be purchased at Sally Beaty Supply, anyone can go in.
You also may want to do this process before you go to bed, put on socks.
If this does not work, purchase the athlete's foot treatment cream. Even if you don't have athelete's foot, we have found it works great on cracked heels!

Use this: its called cracked heel treatment by Bath and Body works. I've included the link - use that with the special socks and use it EVERY night. Make sure you scrub your feet with a pumice stone as well - your tootsies will feel soft again! But this is an aging process - happens to everyone, especially if you wear a lot of sandals/bare feet shoes.

If you have been walking bare footed that could have something to do with it. Try applying neosporin or vaseline daily as much needed. But i would also suggest getting something that is for athletes foot. There are a whole bunch of diff medicines you can use over the counter. To soften feet and cure athletes foot.

This happens a lot in the summer from wearing sandals and stuff. Scrub your feet to remove dead skin (a pumice stone or foot file is great) and then slather them with a good, thick lotion and put socks on before going to bed.

do you tan @ a tanning bed? if yes that is what causes heels to be cracked and dry....avon has some good footcare products....get a soap stone at your local drug store and start using it every night after your bath when feet are soft...if you take showers, sit in front of the tv and soak your feet in warm salty water then use the soap stone...hope this helps...good luck!

Start getting regular pedicures, use a pumice stone every day in the shower and put cocoa butter on your feet with socks and wear to bed.

You can get a large economical bottle of all purpose lotion at the grocery store that should help (cocoa butter, or something like that). Or you can pay a lot for a small tube at a health food store.

Have you been walking around barefoot alot? Because that can make your feet hard and dry. Try putting moisturizing lotion on them everyday. You can try diabetic foot cream usually its extra moisturizing.
