dba is the highest paid and the most likely to stay here in the US rather than be outsource to India
Really, think twice. I could have done better by becoming an electrician. The field has been decimated by outsourcing.

programming is the most interesting of the three but as already noted many jobs are leaving for India then probably China after that. There will still be defense industry jobs though.

This is ur career. U know ur strengths and weeknesses. Depending upon that u need to choose ur career. If u ask such questions pubicly, different people will give u different opinion which will put u into dilema, which leads to wrong decision.
The best way is to sit alone and depending upon ur area of interest choose ur career.

Support yourself as a DBA and lern Jave well. Then transition to a product manager that utilizes India dev resources leveraging your DBA skills to direct product development.
