Do you think politics in America is becoming too radicalized? Is the 2-party system bad? Most European countries have 5 or so MAJOR political parties. Is there no room for decent dialogue? Are we going down the tubes because of personal attacks and single issue platforms?

i think it is. we have become polarized, and are beginning to define ourselves and each other by our political beliefs. conservative and liberal are such loaded words now. we make such assumptions about people and their lives and belifs based on political affiliation. the radical politics is simply accelerating the polarization. the 2 party system doesn't allow room for dialouge. we are making it so that it is mutually exclusive and rigid. political has become a bit too personal.

We need a direct vote so anyone could run, we need to get rid of lobby groups. There would still be lobbyists I'm sure, but at least they would not have so much power in setting the agenda. We also need a platform. The groups out there are all so busy bashing each other, they don't say what they would do instead. No wonder Mickey Mouse wins every presidential election.

Yes. Nothing else to say because it is rather clear that the two party system has gone to hell.

EDDIe is a pure example as to how radical everything has become and the polarizing effects therein.

Thanks EDDIe

Radicalized? You must be smoking something really good over there. America is becoming more liberal every day that passes.

Oh wait! This is a joke, right? Where's the hidden camera? Come on!
