sometimes when walking around i have heard a sound as if a cat was stuck up in a tree.It meows soft like then makes a loud, fast meow as it was upset.Then will return to a soft meow.It only happens near a cluster of trees.can any one give me info on this .

oh my god, that used to drive me crazy. i would swear to god there was a cat somewhere, and i thought perhaps it would be part of a quest, but there is nothing
you walk around everywhere and there is nothing. i really think it's part of the background music, blending with the trees rustling, because you definately hear it a LOT as you play.
while i was playing that game, i looked up online so many times if there was actually a cat that i didn't know about and all i ever got was some quest involving the DS animal crossing, but nothing about the GC version i was playing. so i believe it is just part of the sound of the game

I have never heard of this happening before. My advice is shake the trees in the cluster and run. (Just in case there are bees.)

Not that I know of, and I have the guide. Are you sure there isn't something -behind- the tree?

I have never encounted that, but who knows wouldnt suprise me with some of the silly things they did in that game.
