paid well but there wasn't a lot for you to do? I do maybe 2hrs of work a day (sometimes less) because there is nothing for me to do. But I am sooo bored and there is no one in the office to talk to! Should I keep this job because of the pay and try to find things to do with my down time (suggestions?) or should I look for another job even though it might not pay as much?

*They don't have much for me to do it is a small office with only 3 employees besides me. I have asked for things to do but they never keep me busy that long.*

I am the office manager. The company is not expanding. This is as good as it gets!

if the job pays good, stay . Just bring a novel to read, or do knitting or crochet or answer questions on yahoo. another one is to do light housekeeping. arranging and organizing things around the office. do you answer the phone or type up some correspondence. if you go to school, you can do your homework. Look for a second job such as stuffing envelopes.or a job you can do from home such as computers.or the ones this guy before me mentions.

it would depends on what your role is in the office, and if you think it will evolve.
what you have to think is about missed opportunities, and about what you are NOT learning while you stay there. If you think you are good there, definitely find some things to do. Do you have internet access? subscribe then to some language courses, and start learning a second - or third - language right away. With a few hours daily, you will ace it!!!

If things don't change within a few months, MOVE. look at something that will give you room to grow.

I was in the exact same situation up until one week ago. I have been (at my current job) eight months mow but sometimes I am so bored that I feel like I can loose my mind. Now I am changing to a new position and I am looking forward to start my new job next week.

With a computer at home and internet connection, you can start earning from home, without any investment. You should choose your work at home job according to your skills and time available.
The simplest work at home job is answering phone calls for companies like WorkathomeAgent, Alpine Access, Liveops. You will need a quiet enviroment at home without any disturbance. To apply you will have to complete an online application form on the companies website . A list of companies with websites is available at

I kinda have the same situation, but am not bored. I use my down time to do things from my personal life that I sometimes don't get a chance to work on.

I agree. If you need the money stick with it until you are financial ready to move to a better job. If you feel the need to move on, ask your friends and co-workers for any other jobs that are available.

i would try to earn extra money online by using these free survey sites. you can refer others to get bonuses and make even more money.

free signup, monthly check or paypal deposit

do two surveys an hour and its like you are making $2 more an hour for 10 minutes work

i would create a seperate email to use to track your accounts and you will get some spam
