Well, you can easily tell if a boy likes you, if he likes bothering you and touching you, or starring. You will definently know if he stares at you a lot. Well when you are in 8th grade you should be on your books but your not the only on, it happen to me too.

...as for how to know when a boy likes you, it can be tough to tell at your age because boys in your age group are often shy about letting girls know they are interested...generally you'll get a lot of eye contact...maybe a smile...he may find reasons to bump into you (or your friend as the case may be), find reasons to be near where you are going to be, even if he doesn't have to be there...might send a friend of his over to talk to you to "feel you out"...
...but just as quickly, his interest may turn to something or someone else...things can change fast during those teen years...
..enjoy things for what they are (learning experiences) and if that boy does like your friend, I hope they have some fun times knowing one another...

If you have an inclination that someone likes you, generally you are 80% right.
I remember when I was in high school wondering if guys liked me. I would gather up the courage and ask him to go see a movie or something. Your life is too short to hold back on things like this.

You will know when someone likes you by how they talk to you and how you feel around them. If you talk to them a lot then they are a god match for you. If they talk to you a lot and flirt which is commenting etc. that means they like you. To find out more about if they like you is by asking them out to a movie. They will mainly say no if they do not like you or do not want to lead you on. After you ask them out wait for them to make the first move. If they don't that mainly means they don't like you!

You know if a guy "likes" if he is RESPECTFUL and shy around you. Try talking to him , if he speaks to you without looking at you, he might really like you. If he is "all up" in your face with a conversation that is nasty or disrespectful, he may not like you but may be trying to get something else from you. Be careful.
Or you can find out from his friends what he thinks of you.

no problem girl. okay so if he flirts with her and wants to be around her a lot. he is all sweet and charming just to make himself look good. you know stuff like that. chances are if she's not sure if he likes her maybe he does like her. ggod luck!

He will get nervous around you and he will maybe even bug you and if you have a school dance and if he askes you out....Then he likes you.
