First of all, I have to agree with what WonderTricia said. Your question doesn't make much sense. A trilogy has three books, not seven.
But that aside, even if it's a 'special edition' set, it's not going to be worth more than it is right now. Harry Potter is greatly mass market, and the only way you'd be able to make any kind of money off of it is to live long enough that it's out of print, most of the copies are beat up/damaged and /or destoryed and your coopies would have to be in excellent condition.
If it's something you're planning on reading over and over again then it will actually decrease in value, especially if the books are left out where the elements can get at them and degrade the paper. The glue on the binding also tends to snap and break apart if they're left out in arid conditions. Light degrades the apaper, cover art, binding and ink in books as well.
Your best bet would be to get them a special glass case and make sure that the books get handed down to your descendents. In about a hundred years (fifty at the least) there should have been enough of a decrease in copies that it will be worth more.
I wouldn't invest in it.

I don't know. How much do yo8u think Microsoft stock would be worth?
Seriously though, harry potter is VERY mass market. For something to have an increase in value, it needs to be rare. Hold onto it for 100-200 years, maybe. But you'd be lucky if it went up 50% in value in just 10 years. I'd guess more like a 10-20% increase, if you were REALLY LUCKY. It might even go down, since it becomes "used", and lots of people will have those books.

Your question doesn't make sense. What special edition trilogy? There are 3 books in a trilogy, not 7. And no one knows how much it woud be in 10 years. That's the future, and very few people can predict the future, and I'm certainly not one of them.

Ten years from now, the Harry Potter series may not hold the interest that it does today. However, if you could get your hands on the very first issue of the first book in the series that was published overseas, you'd own a gold mine.
