Try Mederma, it supposed to be one of the best over-the-counter products out there.

If it is new, you can try putting Vitamin E on it. If it is older, depending on how deep it is, you can exfoliate your skin. After some time and removing those layers of skin you will notice that the scar becomes less noticeable (plus your skin will look great!). Try some of the new kits with the buffer thingys -- I think Olay has one and so does Neutrogena. Perhaps you could look into chemical peels at a salon, those take off more layers than just regular exfoliation; it is more expensive though.

vitamin e will do nothing for a scar.It is an old wives tale.You can try maderma,but truthfully if it's a scar on your face and it is really noticeable,health insurance should cover a visit to a plastic surgeon.He or she can give you a pretty scar as they say.
