As far as I know, you can't actually burn an mp3 disc from windows media player, only a regular audio disc using your mp3 music files. Your question is a little shady, but if you mean that you want to rip CD's into mp3 format instead of the standard wma or wav files, you'll need to install the appropriate codecs for windows media player if you don't already have it. You can check by opening Windows media player and clicking on Tools, Options, click the Rip or Copy Music tab and next to the box that says Windows Media Audio, change that to mp3, or if you don't have that option, click on the link that says "learn more about mp3 formats" to see which application you can use/install that will allow you to rip to mp3 format. Good Luck

With media player open
click Tools>>options then click the "Rip music tab" and set the format to mp3
wmp format is good but when it comes to swapping music MP3 is a good all round format that 99% of players will recognise.
if you have wmp tracks you want to convert to mp3 put them on a disc or memory stick and rip them again wmp should rip them as mp3 format this time, you could always put original Cd's in and do it again

My little cousin became on my notebook at some point, and curiously she by some potential downloaded QuickTime onto my notebook devoid of even understanding it. Everytime i attempted to hearken to mp3's or watch mpg's, the Quicktime participant saved stoning up particularly of abode windows Media participant. So all I did became circulate to regulate Panel, then I uninstalled the Quicktime application from my notebook. yet once you elect to maintain Quicktime particularly of uninstalling it, then i think you may open up your abode windows Media participant and set it as your default participant.
