It's possible that you will lose your check if you are getting SSI, and not SSDI. There are major differences in the 2 programs, although both are for the disabled who cannot work.
SSI is Supplemental Security Income. This is a type of welfare for those who haven't worked long enough to earn enough credits to qualify for SSDI. For this, they take into account any assets owned as well as household income to figure the amount you would get. If your husband works or has assets over a certain amount, you would lose your disability benefits.
SSDI is Social Security Disability Income for those who have worked long enough to qualify for the benefits. They don't take into account any assets or other household income when they figure your benefit amount. The amount you get will depend upon how much you paid in over the years that you worked.

Getting married will not make you any less disabled. You will not lose your disability payment. The difference is that you will have to pay more in taxes on the disability income based upon your future spouses income come tax time. There is a form on the 1040 schedule to calculate that. If you are added to his insurance, social security may become the secondary insurance (which may be advantageous, you will need to do some calculating to determine that). Otherwise, everything as related to your medical coverage should not change. Check with the social security office to verify this, but my wife was fully disabled for three years before she passed away 18 months ago and my working status did not affect her SSI.

No, you won't lose your SSDI monthly checks, they are based on what you enarned. Health coverage on the other hand, might depend on the combined income of the family. Specially for Medi-caid coverage.
