Oh yeah! I never wore one but my dad did...but at least his weren't mint green. He wore them all through the '90's too...but he could get away with it because he was an engineer.
I got married in 1980 an quite a few people had them on...I had to crop those folks from my photos...or at least their bodies!
You could always tell a smoker...they had melt-marks instead of burn-marks on their leisure suits.

I still have one in the closet. I wear it to 70's parties. Back in the day, it was a serious part of your wardrobe.

Of course. At the time I was looking very chic with my elephant bell bottom pants. HUGE elephant bell bottoms. Oh yeah, I want to burn all my high school photos.
