Like, if you didn't know yourself. What would you think of yourself? I would think I was smart-looking, probably a little bit sarcastic at times, polite, loud and quiet at intervals. I would also seem short, not gorgeus but not ugly, and maybe a little too negative. But if they saw me with my friends, I would look so happy and laugh so hard, they would know I was content and joyful.

I would see a person who is basically introverted yet has a strong voice when spoken to. A rather tall, thin person who does not draw attention to herself. If I stopped for a moment to watch this person I would see the many accomplishments in varied areas and yet I would wonder what are her thoughts that she seems so distant, so peaceful and content. As I glance into this person's eye's, I can see many stories of the life she has lived. Those of happiness and sadness, strength and honesty, betrayal and contentment all intermixed in the heart of this person. To say "hello", I would find someone who was eager to reply with a smile, yet say little more.

You would look at yourself in a pure state of perception untainted by self criticism or judgement. A single "all at once" perception of yourself that can not be attained by your own eyes. Of course here is fitting to ask:
If I am looking at myself through somebody's eyes, and since it is a perception i am experiencing first hand, doesn't it follow that those somebody's eyes are none other than my own therefore i would look at myself the same way I would look at the reflection in the mirror:
Me observing ME. And who is in the middle? EGOness is an illusion baby!

I think that you see in someone else’s eyes what you want to see. All depends where your soul is.
We humans are mirrors of each other.
I have heard that eyes are the soul’s doors, and I’m truly sure that if we really see deeply into someone else’s eyes all the external things disappear so we might be able to see the reflection of your soul in the other person and the other person’s soul in you.

i would see myself..no seriously this is a question you can't really answer because who knows you better than yourself, most of time if from stranger's eyes and didnt know you they would see totally different, so im sure I would see something totally different than what I think of me now, compare to viewing from another eye..we live in world based on cover than on contents of the book. so yeah even if you could see yourself, its basically everyone looking at you. thats why we have eyes to see thing but eyes can only go so far, but can't go deep inside of what you really see in someone's mind or heart..eyes are here for us too see, as for mind and heart will do the thinking.:-)

That's a very thought-provoking question!

I'm kind of glad I don't have to see myself, sometimes.

Oh boy.

PS "Why don't you take a look at yourself?" is the same question Clarice Starling asked Hannibal Lecter in Silence of the Lambs!!!

i think i would see someone who thinks a little too much of themselves, i would see someone quite reserved without realizing that they are just a bit shy, i would see someone who doesn't seem to like women too much without realizing that they have self esteem issues, i would see someone who appears quite clever without realizing that all their knowledge comes from picking up bits of wisdom from here and there along the way, i would see someone self assured without realizing that they are anything but,i would see someone fearless without realizing that they are afraid of everything including showing fear,
I would see the exact opposite of who i really am. one day i will pluck up the courage to be me but perhaps just not yet.
