It does whiten your teeth but don't use it. It will wear the enamel down and is not really good for your teeth, and it tastes terrible. Go to the dentist and have them do it or buy one of those kits, you'll get much better results and save some of your tooth enamel in the process. You want to keep your teeth as long as you can.

You should get result the first time you brush with baking soda. That's what people had to use many years ago, because they could not afford toothpaste. Surprised we could afford a toothbrush. We would wet the finger, dip it into the baking soda, and finger brush....
The way things are today, just go to the dentist and let him take care of it.

It depends on how deeply stained the colors are. If you are a smoker of drink red wine regularly than it might take up to years. For other stains, it cold take months. Try using whitening strips if you want faster results. But be careful if you have sensitive teeth, whitening agents may not be good for them.

It should happen right after you use it - if it doesn't, try a little bit longer or mix it with a couple of drops of peroxide. Use baking soda and peroxide nightly and results should be great. Good luck!

Too long. Go to the dentist and get a bleaching kit. They work really well. I've been using them and have had phenomenal results.
