In Britain we're about 2/3 of the way through season two, so what do you think is going on? Do you think it's really an accident that the plane crashed, etc.

I think it is exactly what it is. Lost on an island with some really freaky stuff going on.
I think the writers want you to think it is something else, but I bet when it is all said and done; its just an island with plane crash survivors, some freaky, distorted scientist people, and an old experimentation site.

I am of the opinion that the writers of this show get ideas from people like us! I do NOT have a clue. For a long time I thought they were all dead and in purgatory. There seems to be a connection between their lives before the 'accident' and what they find on the island. (Like the numbers that have to be punched in and the statues full of drugs) We'll see. One thing I will say, without spoiling anything for you, IMO, what happens at the very end of the season you're watching wasn't the cause, but stopped it before it got any worse. How's that for cryptic?

there is a connection between the "button" and the plane crash. Keep watching cause ive already seen season 2 and cant wait for 3
