There were some credible threats the beginning of august, but nothing specific and they reduced the threat levels by the middle of august. Numerous threats come in daily. Which ones do we act on?

One of his messengers had a document in hand in front of him that was stating that bin laden was going to use planes as weapons. But old chimpy didnt want to be botherd with national security during his golf game. Though I think that they knew about it long before that.
