Try this:
Click on Tools-->Internet Options and go to the Advanced Tab.
Scroll down to the Multimedia section and make sure "Show Pictures" is checked.

1) if running an advert blocker, check the settings for it or shut it off.
2) If using INTERNET EXPLORER, go into
TOOLS > Internet Options > Advanced
In there there should be a load of tick boxes.
Scroll down to the section on there titled "Multimedia".
Ensure the "Show pictures" box is ticked.

You probably made the choice in your browser setup to "not show pictures." That just gives you a box with a little dot in it instead of a picture. Go back to Browser setup and uncheck that to show pictures.

It probably has to do with your internet options and cookies or something similar. I don't know exactly what you need to do, but try lowering your security settings to accept most cookies- then restart your computer. Maybe that will help
