My husband wants to know if there is anyone out there who knows about a Scottish gangster. A film was made about him approx. mid '80's. It has nothing to do with the film about John McVicar which starred Roger Daltrey. Sorry I can't be more specific but my husband just wants to know is name so we can look on the net about him.

Jimmy Boyle. He served around 15 years in prison and was kept in the infamous cages in inverness prison,probably something to do with the fact he assaulted the prison governor during his admission interview,on his release he married the british board of film censors daughter and is now a successful sculptor.He was a real wee Glasgow hard man.
