how do i get directions to go somewhere by bicycle?

mapquest dont give you directions by bike. i live in port huron mich and want to go to lewiston michigan(about 4hours away by car) and i want to go by bicycle. can someone please help me find a site that will give me directions to where i want to go BY BICYCLE

I have bicycled the Coastal Highway 101 from Canada to Mexico. I found that if I need advice it was best to go to a bicycle store or an outlet store that sells camping and hiking gear. Also plot your route on a map. Roads with wide shoulders are the best. If it is 4 hours by car you will need to camp along the way. Any more if I tour I like to have another person along. Thomas S.
