I just changed my network card for a wireless one and Windows now wants to be reactivated, but if I answer YES to Activate now? all I get is a blue box and if I close it, it logs off. Any ideas??

You should have installed the drivers while you still had the other network card installed. This way, when your comp comes up, all that should need to be done is basic NIC configuration (if you don't have DHCP running). Otherwise MS, in its infinite wisdom, will keep on trying to re-activate windows over the network with a NIC that has no drivers to operate or any configuration done.

PS: Yet another pearl of wisdom from MS, you only have three major harware upgrades to your system before MS requires you to re-activate.

- Put your original Network Card back in, then reboot.

- Install the Drivers for the NEW Wireless network Card.

- NOW switch off, and swap the Cards over, putting in the new Wireless card, and as the drivers are now already installed, you shouldn't get any further issues.

Best of luck.

Changing your network card should have no effect on your activation. Maybe you have a pirated copy?
